Text Formatting Error on Unix or Linux Devices in senhasegura

On Unix or Linux devices, when using text editing programs such as VI or VIM, a text formatting error may occur. This is due to the connection format used by senhasegura, known as TERM.

To resolve this issue, you can change the connection format to x-term, which is required by AIX, for example. This change refers to the SSH endpoint type.

To make this change, it is necessary to create a segregated parameter for the device. Follow these steps:

  1. Access Grid Menu-> Settings-> System Parameters
  2. Press on the three dots on the right and select “New Device Segregation”
  3. In the option “SSH Terminal Type”, select “System Default”
  4. Add the devices under “Devices”.

This change should resolve the text formatting issue on affected devices. It should be noted that these changes must be made for each device that experiences the problem.
