How to transfer files through SFTP using WinSCP

When senhasegura can’t map a remote drive to transfer files on remote Windows web proxy sessions or the scenario involves transferring files between Windows and Linux machines, we can use SFTP via WinSCP to transfer files.

1. Open the WinSCP and fill in according to the instructions below:

2. Enter the connection string:

<senhasegura username[credential username@device name or IP]>

Here’s an example of how to fill it in using the device name:

ralves[adminuser@GLPI]

3. Navigate through folders to find the file which you want to transfer:

4. Transfer the file to the target device by dragging it to the folder located on the right side:
