How to reset the master-key?

Hello Senhasegura community,

Senhasegura newbie here!
I have just deployed PAM in my test environment. I got stuck at the master-key generation step. I have created a second user, for which I didn’t create an email address. I went through the generation of the new master-key and it was successful, I can see the Ceremony status as “Pending” for both Admin and another user, however, I didn’t receive the master-key part via email for my Admin user, and also for the second user.

Is there a way to delete these pendings and simply re-generate the master-key? Because it’s asking to enter either the part or a complete key, if I try to click on “Set master key”.

In case it’s not possible, can I revert to a snapshot before I did any configurations to my Senhasegura and then apply the same license activation key for that same virtual machine, or is it only valid once?

Regarding your question: in order to restart the master key ceremony, it is necessary to first recover the parts that were generated during the initial setup. Please follow the steps below:

  1. Log in to both user accounts that participated in the master key ceremony.
  2. Ensure that MFA (Multi-Factor Authentication) and valid email addresses are configured for both accounts.
  3. Once logged in, click on the username in the top-right corner of the interface.
  4. Then select the “Master Key” option to view and retrieve the key part assigned to each user.

Only after recovering all key parts from the current ceremony will you be able to complete or restart the process properly.

Unfortunately, this question is no longer relevant. I re-deployed my Senhasegura VM. However, I wouldn’t have had the opportunity to log in to both user accounts that participated in the master key ceremony, for one of them was deleted :slight_smile:
