Requirements: Acess by SSH with the ‘mt4adm’ user or access through HTTPS web with the ‘admin’ user.
Recommendations: Take a snapshot of the instances that should continue in the cluster before the procedure.
Context example: There are 3 nodes in a cluster and it’s necessary to remove one of them, the third one.
This process can be done through the Web in the following way:
-
On the Third server:
Access the path ‘Orbit Config Manager → Replication → Settings’ and change the option on Operation Mode from ‘Cluster’ to ‘Standalone’ and save the settings. -
On the Secondary server:
Access the path ‘Orbit Config Manager → Replication → Settings’ and on the ‘Cluster members’ remove the node that will leave the Cluster and save the settings. -
On the First server:
Access the path ‘Orbit Config Manager → Replication → Settings’ and on the ‘Cluster members’ remove the node that will leave the Cluster and save the settings.
After that, turn off the third server that will not be used anymore through CLI with the command ‘orbit shutdown’.
