In the upper left corner of the senhasegura platform, click on Grid Menu → PAM Core → Credentials → All.
Click on the ‘View Actions’ icon (three vertical dots) and on ‘+ New’. This will open a new pop-up window where you must fill in the data.
- Information:
- User Name: Mandatory information.
- Password Type: Define the password type.
- Domain/Device: Enter the domain and related device.
- Additional Information: Optional field for additional information.
- Status: Define as ‘Active’ or ‘Inactive’.
- Credential Password: Can be manual (limit of 256 characters) or generated automatically according to the password policy.
- Tags: Optional, for easier identification.
- Execution Settings:
- Parent Credential: Select a parent credential, if applicable.
- Password Change Configuration: Enable automatic change and fill in the plugin and template options, if desired.
- Authentication Configuration: Use your own credential or select another one for authentication.
- Credential Reconciliation: Enable and set to ‘Active’ or ‘Inactive’.
- Session Settings:
- Define the connectivities that the credential will have access to.
- Remote Application Settings (if applicable): Restrict access to specific remote applications.
- Certificate (For connections to Oracle databases): Upload certificate and key files, fill in the key password.
- Additional Settings:
- Webservice Identifier: Enter if necessary.
- Credential Owner User: Define the owner user.
- Server Path: Specify where the credential will be stored.
- Secret Key (TOTP): Fill in the TOTP key (in capital letters).
- Additional Fields for Authentication: Add new parameters if necessary.
- Notes: Additional pertinent information.
- Save the Settings.
How to Edit a Credential
- Initial Access:
- In the upper left corner, click on Grid Menu → PAM Core → Credentials → All.
- Edit Credential:
- Identify the credential in the list and click on the ‘View Actions’ icon (three vertical dots).
- Select ‘Edit’ (pencil and paper icon).
- In the ‘Credential Registration’ window, edit the settings as necessary.
- Save the changes.

The credential limit is defined by the contracted license.

The existence of a parent credential does not prevent the manual or automatic change of the child credential password.
