Good day, does anyone know, what is the scope of adding a domain credential, I put some questions:

  1. When creating the credential, the password is pulled from the AD password automatically?
  2. Will they have the steps to configure the domain credential correctly?

Hey Esteban, I’m assuming you are talking about adding credentials in PAM Core to be managed by senhasegura.

  1. There is no way to pull any password from AD, even because that could be a potential security breach. But using Discovery or batch import, you will have to pass the credential passwords or use password rotation with another credential, usually with a service account created for this purpose.

  2. Not sure what you mean by “They” could you share more? Because to set a domain credential, you need to select the Password type as Domain user and the Domain field with the domain that the credential belongs.
    You can also create the Domain if it does not exist in the Pam Core ➔ Settings ➔ Credentials ➔ New Domain
