“Input/Output error” Error when setting up a remote partition manually

When the remote partition mount in Orbit was saved, it was noticed that it was not mounted in the operational system. This information was visualized in “Orbit>Server>Disks and partitions.” So it was necessary to access senhasegura via SSH to set up the partition and then see the error message manually.

By accessing the operating system and running the command sudo mount -v /srv/remote_backup, it was given the following error:

This error may be related to sharing the backup folder (this must be validated directly on the server), authentication credential on the shared server, the domain registered for the authentication credential, etc.

In the problem scenario exposed above, we understand that the domain provided had been changed in the productive structure. In this way, when validating the session for backup, the authentication credential tried to use its old domain.

After that, the correct domain was added to its field in “Orbit > Configurations > Backup” as shown below.
